  6. This template was created using ViaBase 1.4 a Windows design
  7. database.  You must acquire a copy of ViaBase in order to
  8. utilize this template.  ViaBase is available online at America 
  9. Online and Compuserve as well as a number of Internet shareware
  10. sites.  ViaBase is shareware and is also available directly 
  11. from Viable Software Alternatives, PO Box 98134, Las Vegas, NV

  19. In addition to this read1st.txt file, the  following files should
  20. have been located in the self extracting archive cwsapi.exe:

  23. proj.vbv
  24. configur.vbl

  26. Copy all four files to the "vbfiles" directory in ViaBase.  The
  27. Civil War Small Arms Projectile Inventory database (proj.vbf)
  28. is executed from the file menu "open" command in ViaBase. 
  29. Data input is straight forward.  Most of the data fields provide 
  30. lists from which to select type and/or style.  The rest of the
  31. fields are measurement and/or additional input provided by 
  32. the operator.

  40. with "Civil War Projectiles II" by Mason & Mckee as the primary
  41. source.  If you do not have this book in your library and

  44. accurately record and catalog your Civil War era Minie balls and
  45. small arms projectiles.  With hundreds of actual size photos,
  46. dimensions and physical characteristics, as well as,

  48. research and identification tool for all avid Civil War
